In 2020, Chris was a successful contestant on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year. Judge and artist, Tai Schan Schierenberg commented that Chris’ paintings were characterised by ‘Isolated figures dreaming in Painted Places’ This portrait subsequently painted is from a series of figures seated alone and in a place of deep reflection.
