A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Biography
Chris is a figurative painter/printmaker from Leeds, UK.
She started her formal art training at Jacob Kramer College ( now Leeds Arts University ) where she gained a distinction.
She then went on to study Fine Art at Trent University, Nottingham specializing in painting and drawing from the Life model followed by a PGCE in Art and Design from Reading University.
In 2017 after years of teaching Art in High Schools, Chris was delighted to set up studio within Patrick Studios, which is run by East Street Arts and provides space for over thirty artists.
With decades of creative energy behind her, she now paints full time, specializing in portraits that blend memory and identity with muted, nostalgic tones.
