Leeds Summer Group Show 3rd- 23rd July

Established in 2015, The Leeds Summer Group Show is an annual exhibition celebrating visual arts talent from across the UK.  

‘Courtney Spencer’ has once again curated an exhibition of fifty artists in this exciting summer show.

I am delighted to be exhibiting a new large painting ; ‘Painting in Park Square,’ which features two women from Leeds College of Art, circa 1920s painting in the historic Park Square Leeds.  It is Oil on Canvas, 105 x 105 cm . I cant wait to share it with you. 

The PV is at Leeds Playhouse on Wednesday 2nd July, 6-8pm You are very welcome to join us for a relaxed preview upstairs  on level one. 

Drinks are available to purchase from the bar, No need to RSVP  Just come along, I look forward to seeing you.

Round Foundry Exhibition  ’ All that is great about Leeds’ July 19th - August 2nd

I am excited to be exhibiting my painting, ‘Three Tykes on Kirkgate’ Oil on canvas, 55 x 65cm in a group show in the historic building in which Matthew Murray made his name as a great engineer.  The exhibition is curated by Leeds Artist and Historian, Clifford Stead. Further details to follow.

Northern Soul Solo Exhibition  

 Left Bank, Headingley, Leeds  1 September- October 10th 

During the summer months I  am working towards a large solo exhibition at the Left Bank Arts Centre in Leeds. please make a note of the dates in your diary especially the PV which will be on Weds 3rd September. Details will be forwarded in the autumn but you are of course warmly invited. 

The Portrait;  Printmaking and colour mixing for portraiture

A five week course 18th September- 16th October at 6.00pm - 8.30pm. 

In the autumn I will once again be teaching this five week portrait course in which we cover portrait techniques in mono print and painting.
